Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini feels that his side are better equipped to win the FA Cup this time around than they were in 2009.

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini feels that the club are better equipped now than the team that lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup final in 2009.

The Belgian international joined the Toffees in 2008 but has yet to win a trophy on Merseyside.

He told the Liverpool Echo: "I want to win something. It's nice when I score but more important to me is winning something with Everton.

"We were so close in 2009 but it was a difficult against a big team. This season it's different because maybe we have a better team. It's a big chance for us. It's why we work so hard. The motivation is clear."

Everton take on Wigan Athletic in the last eight of the FA Cup on Saturday.
