David Moyes urges Everton to take one game at a time

David Moyes admits that Everton must not look too far ahead before facing Sunderland.

Everton manager David Moyes has said that his side cannot afford to think about anything beyond Sunderland this afternoon.

The Scot, whose side haven't lost to Sunderland at home since 1998, insists that the club cannot take their spot in the semi-finals for granted against Martin O'Neill's in-form Sunderland outfit.

"We can't think about a semi-final until we've won," he said. "We've got to beat Sunderland, who are a team in form.

"Martin O'Neill has done an unbelievable job. He does it at all the clubs he goes to. He's an experienced manager.

"The one thing for us is that we're at Goodison. We wouldn't have liked the thought of going to the Stadium of Light."

Meanwhile, the Toffees boss believes that his club must win the FA Cup in order to avoid missing European football next season.
