Everton midfielder Yannick Bolasie has suggested that he will not rush his return to the first-team squad after almost a year out with a serious knee injury.
Bolasie has not featured for Everton since December 4, but the winger - who cost the Toffees a fee of £25m earlier in 2016 - is scheduled to re-join training in the coming days.
However, Bolasie has claimed that he will take his time to recapture some form behind the scenes before making another appearance for the Merseyside outfit.
The 28-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I haven't set a date yet for that return. I can't really say right now.
"I'm back in on Monday at Everton. I'm probably going to be integrated with the team then, but comeback I don't know. I want to make sure I'm feeling good. It's not just my name on my shirt on the pitch; I want to make sure it's me."
Bolasie made a total of 15 outings for Everton in all competitions last season before his injury.
