Roberto Martinez expects Romelu Lukaku to play

Everton manager Roberto Martinez confirms that striker Romelu Lukaku will play against Burnley this weekend barring any setbacks.

Roberto Martinez has said that Romelu Lukaku should be fit to play in Everton's match against Burnley in the Premier League this weekend.

The striker injured his hamstring just before last month's international break, forcing him to miss both of the Toffees' matches since.

However, the manager said at his pre-match press conference: "Rom has had two very good days with the group. We expect him to do the same again. If there are no problems, he will play."

Everton currently sit 12th in the Premier League table.
