David Moyes insists that Everton are fully focused on their FA Cup replay with Sunderland and not looking ahead to Wembley.

David Moyes has said that Everton are fully focused on their FA Cup replay with Sunderland and not looking ahead to the possibility of playing Liverpool at Wembley.

Everton could set up the first Merseyside derby at the national stadium since 1989 if they can see off Martin O'Neil's men tonight.

"I've not heard anyone talk about it," Moyes said. "The staff haven't mentioned it. We've just thought about this game - going up to Sunderland and making sure we get a good result is a big enough job without thinking about anything else.

"I can't think any further than giving Sunderland all the respect they deserve and having total thoughts on them. That's all that matters.

"It's irrelevant until this game is over. Nobody can get excited, because we've got to go up and play Sunderland. I'm sure their fans are excited about their chances of being at Wembley."

Everton sit just behind Sunderland in the Premier league, though the teams are level on points.
