Player Ratings: Queens Park Rangers 1-2 Everton

Sports Mole rates the individual performances from Everton's 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.

Aaron Lennon scored inside the final 15 minutes to hand Everton a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in the Premier League this afternoon.

Seamus Coleman broke the deadlock before Eduardo Vargas equalised in the second half.

The on-loan winger fired in the winner in the 77th minute though, lifting the Toffees up the 13th in the table.

Here, Sports Mole rates the individual performances of the players involved.

Goal

Rob Green: The keeper only had three saves to make all match, and he missed two of them. He possibly could have done better with the first, but there was not much he could have done to halt Lennon's effort. (5/10)

Defence

Steven Caulker: The defender made a number of vital blocks at the back, and proved more than a handful on the attack, setting up what almost proved to be an equaliser in stoppage time. (7/10)

Yun Suk-young: It was a quiet first half for the Korean, but he worked well with Joey Barton after the break, helping bridge the gap from the back to midfield. (6/10)

Mauricio Isla: On his return from injury, Isla really made an impact at the back, making a string of vital blocks to limit Everton's shots at the QPR goal. (8/10)

Nedum Onuoha: Onuoha was probably the quietest of the defenders, but he was clinical when called upon, mainly marking Kone during the first half. (6/10)

Midfield

Matt Phillips: Phillips continued to show his new-found shooting confidence, but he wasted a couple of chances by going for goal from range rather than looking for his teammates, and drifted offside to see his header disallowed early in the second half. (6/10)

Joey Barton: The captain showed what a leader he is at QPR, dictating play in midfield and providing several dangerous crosses for the forwards. His long-range effort was deflected behind for the corner which ultimately led to QPR's goal. (8/10)

Junior Hoilett: Hoilett did not have much of an impact in the first half, but he caused plenty of problems up front after the break, although he tired and had to go off early. (6/10)

Sandro: Sandro was workmanlike in midfield as he continues his comeback from injury, and the Brazilian had a couple of powerful strikes at goal. (7/10)

Attack

Charlie Austin: Austin was lively from the start, creating chances for strike partner Bobby Zamora while also having a couple of promising shots himself. (7/10)

Bobby Zamora: Zamora had more shots than any other QPR player, but he missed a couple that should have been simple finishes before being taken off early. (7/10)

Substitutes

Eduardo Vargas: Vargas had an immediate impact after coming on for Hoilett, getting the home side back on level terms, and he continued to test Everton at the back. (8/10)

Karl Henry: Henry replaced Sandro with 20 minutes to go, but had little impact before the end of the match, barely having a touch. (5/10)

Adel Taarabt: Taarabt showed the best and worst of his skills in a brief cameo in the final 10 minutes, culminating in him hitting the post deep into stoppage time. (6/10)

EVERTON

Goal

Tim Howard: Howard did not have much to do in the Everton goal, but he did not get close to Vargas's shot, and would have been beaten by Taarabt's late effort if it had been inside the post. (5/10)

Defence

Leighton Baines: Baines spent plenty of time getting forward on the counter-attack for the visitors, and looked solid on set-piece duty. (6/10)

Phil Jagielka: The captain was a rock at the back, spending his afternoon marking Austin to limit the striker's chances, while almost making a string of blocks and clearances. (8/10)

Seamus Coleman: Coleman's finish for the first goal was superb, and he was involved in the build up to the second, while also having a solid afternoon in defence. (8/10)

John Stones: The young defender was kept busy by Bobby Zamora, but he coped well, regularly disrupting the striker to force a number of errors from him. (8/10)

Midfield

Darron Gibson: Gibson was one of the quieter midfielders for Everton, but he was still involved in several promising attacks, and halted QPR's attack with a string of interceptions. (6/10)

James McCarthy: McCarthy showed his pace down the wing, and helped out at the back, but did not have much of an impact going forward. (6/10)

Leon Osman: Osman set up the first goal and created a number of chances for the visitors to extend their lead, working well with Lukaku and Lennon. (7/10)

Attack

Arouna Kone: Kone was forced off early with an injury, but he had looked dangerous on the attack beforehand, coming close to a goal a few times. (7/10)

Romelu Lukaku: Lukaku struggled to get free in the box, limiting his chances, and was forced off with what appeared to be a hamstring injury early in the second half. (5/10)

Aaron Lennon: Lennon scored his first goal since joining on loan from Tottenham, and showed promise throughout. (8/10)

Substitutes

Steven Naismith: Naismith came on late on for Kone, but did not have a clear chance before the end of the match, although he did get back to help the defenders as QPR pushed for a late equaliser. (5/10)

Ross Barkley: Barkley replaced Lukaku with over 20 minutes to play, but he did not provide much of a threat for the visiting side. (5/10)
