Everton complete Lacina Traore capture from Monaco on loan

Everton complete the signing of AS Monaco striker Lacina Traore on loan until the end of the season.

Everton have announced that AS Monaco striker Lacina Traore has signed for the club on loan until the end of the season.

The Merseyside outfit have been working on bringing the 6"8' frontman into Goodison Park over the last few weeks as they try to push for a Champions League spot in the second half of the campaign.

The club have confirmed on their official website that the Ivory Coast international finalised the deal after being granted a work permit on Tuesday.

There were concerns that the 23-year-old would not be able to complete a switch to the Premier League outfit due to a knee injury suffered to Monaco striker Radamal Falcao.

However, subject to a visa, Traore is now an Everton player until the close of the campaign.
