Report: Moussa Sissoko heading for Everton

A report claims that Moussa Sissoko will undergo a medical with Everton after the Toffees agree a £30m deal with Newcastle United.

Moussa Sissoko is reportedly heading for Everton after the Toffees agreed a £30m deal with Newcastle United.

The France international has been linked with a number of clubs since impressing for France in Euro 2016 earlier this summer.

It had been thought that Tottenham Hotspur were the favourites to acquire the midfielder on transfer deadline day, but according to Sky Sports News, Sissoko is now heading for Everton's training ground to undergo a medical ahead of a £30m move.

Sissoko, 27, made 39 appearances last season as Newcastle were relegated to the second tier of English football.

The Magpies had previously slapped a £40m asking price on the head of the Frenchman.
