Joel Robles among seven players released by Everton

Everton release seven out-of-contract players including goalkeeper Joel Robles.

Everton have announced that goalkeeper Joel Robles is among seven players that will leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the month.

The Spanish goalkeeper, who is said to be in talks with Getafe, will follow Jose Baxter and Conor Grant to the Goodison Park exit.

Baxter will join Oldham Athletic, while Grant has agreed a deal with Plymouth Argyle.

Under-23s players Sam Byrne, Calum Dyson, Louis Gray and David Henen have also left Everton, the club have announced.

Everton are expected to offload a number of senior players this summer following the arrival of new manager Marco Silva and director of football Marcel Brands, with the duo said to be aiming to reduce the wage bill.
