Exeter City win Devon derby

Exeter City score twice in the final seven minutes at St James' Park to seal a 3-1 win over local rivals Plymouth Argyle.

Two goals in the final seven minutes at St James' Park ensured that Devon's League Two bragging rights belonged to Exeter City in Saturday's early kickoff.

Alan Gow and Scott Bennett found the net late on for the Grecians after Luke Young's first goal of the season had earlier cancelled out Arron Davies's 56th-minute opener.

Exeter, who temporarily rise to second in the League Two table, have now claimed 12 points from a possible 15 at home this season.

Meanwhile, Plymouth Argyle remain 15th and are now 10 points behind their local rivals.
