Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella reportedly has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave the club if Napoli make a move for his services this summer.
Montella has enhanced his growing reputation with a consistent campaign, helping La Viola maintain their fight for European qualification with an attacking style.
The coach's cousin Emanuele has told Italian media in an interview today that Vincenzo is allowed to take the Napoli post if the Azzurri seek to replace Walter Mazzarri in the close season.
He is quoted by TV RTN as saying: "There is an agreement with Fiorentina that would allow Vincent to leave in the event that a team come calling that will play the Champions League next year."
Mazzarri is out of contract at Napoli in June and has so far refused to be drawn on persistent speculation surrounding his long-term future at the San Paolo Stadium.
