Half-Time Report: Goalless first half at Highbury Stadium

Fleetwood Town are unable to take advantage of several chances as it remains goalless at Highbury Stadium.

Fleetwood Town go into half time with Barnsley at 0-0 after both sides were unable to take the lead in a lively first half.

The game started with end-to-end chances as Fleetwood's Jamie Proctor neatly linked up with Josh Morris, with the Blackburn Rovers loanee over-hitting the cross.

Dale Jennings replied with a long-range shot which took a deflection off Stephen Jordan to send it out for a corner.

Fleetwood had the best chance of the half to go ahead as Stephen Dobbie put through Gareth Evans one on one with the keeper, but his shot was saved.

The Fishermen looked the most likely to take the lead before the break, as Evans had a long shot saved by Adam Davies to keep it scoreless at Highbury Stadium.
