Half-Time Report: No goals at Griffin Park

Brentford and Fulham remain level at the break following a goalless first half at Griffin Park.

Brentford have headed into half time level with Fulham after missing a string of goal-scoring opportunities in the first half of their Championship match at Griffin Park this evening.

After a nervous start from both sides, it was the hosts who had the first chance of the night, as Andre Gray crossed the ball in, but Harlee Dean saw his header tipped over.

Marcus Bettinelli had to remain alert in the Fulham goal as the hosts attacked again, but managed to collect the cross from Jon Toral to stop Brentford having another shot.

Toral tested the visiting keeper again later in the half with a diving header, but the England Under-21 international made the stop, while Jonathan Douglas fired wide for Brentford from the resulting corner.

Toumani Diagouraga also came close for the home side, but Bettinelli continued to frustrate Brentford, denying the Frenchman with a fingertip save.

Fulham could have taken the lead in stoppage time, but Hugo Rodallega's header was turned wide after Ross McCormack had crossed the ball in.
