Fulham have reportedly turned down an approach from Queens Park Rangers regarding the availability of Brede Hangeland.
The centre-back is believed to be a target of R's manager Harry Redknapp, who is seeking a replacement for Toronto-bound Ryan Nelsen.
QPR were said to be hoping that they could take advantage of the fact that Hangeland's contract at Craven Cottage is due to expire at the end of the current season.
However, Fulham have rejected the notion of parting with the Danish international, according to Goal.com.
It has been claimed that Redknapp may now turn his attention to either West Bromwich Albion's Jonas Olsson or Porto's Rolando.
