Kostas Mitroglou quiet over Fulham future

Kostas Mitroglou refuses to be drawn on his Fulham future amid doubts over whether he will remain at the club.

Fulham striker Kostas Mitroglou has refused to be drawn on whether he will still be at the club next season.

The 26-year-old joined the Cottagers for a club-record £12.4m from Olympiacos in January, but a lack of fitness saw him play just three games in the Premier League.

Mitroglou's future has since come into question following the team's relegation from the top flight.

However, the Greek international forward insists that he is focusing only on helping his country at this summer's World Cup.

"I do not want to talk about next season," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I prefer to stay committed to the national team and the big summer ahead.

"It is a big honour to play in a World Cup and I want to be committed to this feast of football."

Mitroglou has scored eight goals in 28 appearances for the Greek national team.
