Galatasaray have won their 18th Super League title, and their first since 2008, after a 0-0 draw with arch rivals Fenerbache.

Both teams had a man sent off during the game, Issiar Dia seeing red for Fenerbahce before Tomas Ujfalusi was given his marching orders nine minutes from time to level the numbers.

The title success goes some way to making up for Galatasaray's poor campaign last season when they finished down in ninth place.

Further celebrations will no doubt be planned considering that their 18th title equals Fenerbahce's record for the most won by a single Turkish club.
