Preview: Genoa vs. Napoli

Sports Mole previews the Serie A match between Genoa and Napoli.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez will have to lift his players from their European disappointment in midweek ahead of their trip to Genoa on Sunday.

Gli Azzurri were demoted to the Europa League after they lost 4-2 on aggregate to Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League qualifying round, which may lead to a number of first-team players angling for a move before the end of the transfer window.

Benitez is likely to recall Gokhan Inler to his starting lineup, but it's unclear whether Lorenzo Insigne will return to the team after he was booed by his own fans in Europe last week.

Genoa have endured a number of frustrating seasons in Serie A but they will be hopeful of an improved campaign after the signings of Diego Perotti from Sevilla and Iago Falque from Tottenham Hotspur.

I Rossoblu warmed up for start of Serie A campaign with a 1-0 win over Virtus Lanciano in the Coppa Italia.
