Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Germany could line up for Friday's international friendly with Poland.

Germany manager Hansi Flick may consider a few personnel changes for Friday's international friendly with Ukraine in Warsaw.

Die Mannschaft marked their 1,000th international game with a thrilling 3-3 draw against Ukraine in Bremen on Monday, coming from two goals down to rescue a stalemate thanks to Kai Havertz's decisive contributions off the bench.

The Chelsea attacker saving the day as a substitute is nothing new - see Costa Rica at the 2022 World Cup - and his successful cameo against Ukraine could see him rewarded with a starting role here.

Havertz came on at half time for Niclas Fullkrug last time out, in spite of the former scoring the game's opening goal, but it would be a surprise to see the Werder Bremen striker dropped - especially with Timo Werner now out with an ankle injury - so Leroy Sane may be sacrificed to allow Havertz to come back in.

Jamal Musiala could provide support to the attacking duo if Flick decides that Julian Brandt's number is up, but while Emre Can is confirmed to be starting alongside Joshua Kimmich in the middle.

The same can be said for Marius Wolf and David Raum out wide, despite the presence of Benjamin Henrichs, and Flick will likely continue with the three-man backline experiment that failed to bear fruit against the Ukrainians.

Matthias Ginter and Antonio Rudiger can expect to hold their spots if that is the case - the same can be said for Nico Schlotterbeck due to Lukas Klostermann's thigh concern - but Kevin Trapp's place in between the sticks could come under threat from Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Germany possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Schlotterbeck, Ginter, Rudiger; Wolf, Kimmich, Musiala, Can, Raum; Havertz, Fullkrug
