Getafe 1-1 Espanyol

A penalty from Miku secures a point for Getafe from their home fixture with Espanyol.

A penalty from Miku rescued a point for Getafe during this evening's home fixture with ten-man Espanyol this evening.

Neither side were able to register a strike on target during the opening 45 minutes at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

However, the visitors broke the deadlock in the 66th minute when Alvaro Vazquez stole in to score from close range.

Espanyol's lead only last for four minutes though as Miku kept his cool from 12 yards out to level up proceedings.

With time running out, the away side lost a man when Ernesto Galan was handed his second caution.

However, they held on despite their numerical disadvantage to claim a share of the spoils.
