Seeking to secure a place in the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time since 2010, Ghana lock horns with Uruguay at the Al Janoub Stadium on Friday.
Following a 3-2 defeat in last week's group opener against Portugal, the Black Stars got their campaign back on track four days later as they claimed a hard-fought 3-2 victory over South Korea at the Education City Stadium.
While Otto Addo's side sit second in the group and in pole position to finish as runners-up, Uruguay have picked up just one point from a possible six and need nothing less than a win to keep their slim qualification hopes alive.
Here, Sports Mole looks at how the squad of Ghana and Uruguay stack up against each other ahead of Friday's contest.
