Kevin-Prince Boateng: 'Ghana will fight Germany to the death'

Kevin-Prince Boateng warns his German counterparts that Ghana will be up for a "fight to the death" on Saturday.

Kevin-Prince Boateng has said that he and his Ghana teammates will "fight to the death" with Germany in their World Cup game on Saturday.

The Berlin-born midfielder could face his half-brother, Jerome Boateng, when the nations clash in Fortaleza this weekend.

The African country suffered a 2-1 defeat to the USA in their opening game, and Boateng believes that their encounter with the Germans will be reminiscent of "ancient Rome" as Ghana look for their first win.

"It's like in ancient Rome. There will be people around the pitch who want to see how two teams fight," the Schalke 04 ace told Bild.

"The team who wants it more will win and we will fight to the death against Germany."

Saturday's game kicks off at 8pm.
