Real Betis run riot at Granada

Real Betis climb up to sixth place in the La Liga table with a comfortable 5-1 victory at struggling Granada.

Real Betis have moved up to sixth place in the La Liga table with a 5-1 win at struggling Granada.

Ruben Castro pounced in the area to give Betis a 30th-minute lead before he grabbed a second moments later by converting the rebound after Dorlan Pabon's strike had hit the crossbar.

Betis then scored their third goal in as many minutes thanks to an Inigo Lopez own goal.

Having hit the bar earlier in the match, Pabon got on the scoresheet on 53 minutes when he slotted in from close range following Castro's pass.

Carlos Aranda headed in for Granada with 20 minutes left on the clock, but the visitors added a fifth late on through Angel Lopez's low drive.
