Hearts striker Conor Sammon has joined Motherwell on a season-long loan.
The 31-year-old spent last season on loan at Partick Thistle, where he scored 10 goals as the Firhill side were relegated through the playoffs.
Sammon moved to Hearts from Derby County in the summer of 2016 on a three-year deal but has netted just once in 22 outings for the Tynecastle side.
"I'm just looking forward to getting stuck in here, playing a lot of games, scoring a lot of goals, and just being a part of a successful season," Sammon told the Well website.
"I think the other strikers in the squad are similar. They're physical, strong and quick, so I definitely think I can fit in here and I think my style of play will help me to have a good season here.
"And I'm looking forward to that, to training with the lads and to getting familiar with each other and how we play."
Sammon, capped nine times for the Republic of Ireland, becomes Motherwell's sixth signing of the summer.
