Hearts to re-sign Steven Naismith on loan?

Hearts are reportedly closing in on the loan signing of Norwich City's Steven Naismith, who spent the second half of last season at the Scottish club.

Hearts have reportedly signed Steven Naismith on loan from Norwich City for the 2018-19 campaign.

Naismith has scored just six times for Norwich since signing from Everton in 2016, leading to a lack of game time in the first half of the last Championship campaign.

However, Hearts are set to re-sign Naismith on loan for next season as manager Craig Levein is keen to keep the former Rangers player at Tynecastle.

Naismith played for the Scottish club for the second half of last season, and Sky Sports News claims that the attacking midfielder will continue his loan spell at Hearts next season.

The 31-year-old scored four goals during his six-month period in the Scottish Premiership, making 16 appearances for Levein's side.
