Mark Robins says that he was left feeling humiliated after Huddersfield Town's heavy defeat to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

Huddersfield Town manager Mark Robins has admitted that he felt embarrassed by his side's heavy defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

Having taken the lead through James Vaughan, the Terriers were pummelled 6-1 by Forest at the City Ground, with Radoslaw Majewski scoring a hat-trick for the hosts.

Robins is still in search of his first victory as the new Huddersfield boss and knows that he needs to earn that win swiftly if his side are to beat the drop.

"It's the most embarrassed I've been as a manager," Robins told Sky Sports News. "I can't believe how naive we've been, if you want to pass the ball then that's fine but you've got to win your battles.

"You try not to overact to a defeat but we need to be picking points up. It started off so well and ended up as it did but we need to pick ourselves up for Ipswich.

"We've got 14 games left and we need to start picking points up because we're in the thick of a relegation scrap."

Huddersfield sit 21st in the Championship.
