Huddersfield Town boss Simon Grayson eyes permanent move for James Vaughan

Huddersfield Town manager Simon Grayson says that signing Norwich City loanee James Vaughan on a permanent basis is a "possibility".

Huddersfield Town manager Simon Grayson has revealed that the club are considering a permanent move for Norwich City striker James Vaughan.

The 24-year-old, who moved to the John Smith's Stadium on a season-long loan from Carrow Road, has been a welcome addition to the side and scored in the Terriers' 3-1 win over Blackpool yesterday.

"Signing James in January is a possibility," The Express quotes Grayson as saying. "We've got him on loan until the end of the season anyway so that's an option.

"I've got a chairman who's willing to back me in the transfer market and he's done it previously. There's lots of options for us but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

Vaughan has scored two goals for Huddersfield during his loan stint so far.
