Huddersfield Town striker Martin Paterson has joined new MLS outfit Orlando City on loan until the summer.
The 27-year-old has played only 10 minutes of football for the Terriers this season under Chris Powell in three substitute appearances, and will hope to revive his career in the States.
"Martin is a senior player and wants to be playing regularly at this stage in his life, which is something I cannot offer him at this club," Powell told the club website.
"As a result, this move is a good one for everyone involved. Moving to Orlando is a great opportunity for Martin and his family, so on behalf of the club I'd like to wish him well. He's a great lad."
Orlando are one of two new teams in MLS this season, and Paterson joins them for the remainder of his Huddersfield contract until June 30.
