Hull City have confirmed that Robert Snodgrass is expected to spend around four weeks on the treatment table with an ankle injury.
The Scotland international suffered ligament damage during the team's 2-0 defeat to Stoke City on Saturday.
After the match, Snodgrass was seen leaving the KCOM Stadium on crutches wearing a protective boot, indicating that manager Mike Phelan could be without the midfielder for some time.
The 29-year-old is no stranger to injury woe, having missed the entire 2014-15 season after dislocating his kneecap in the opening-day match against Queens Park Rangers.
