Steve Bruce admits decisions went Hull City's way

Steve Bruce says that his side got the majority of the "big decisions", but denies that Robbie Brady dived against West Ham United.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has admitted that the "big decisions" went his side's way in their 1-0 victory over West Ham United.

The Tigers' winning goal came from the penalty spot, while referee Kevin Friend denied West Ham a spot kick of their own after deeming that Jake Livermore had not handled the ball inside the area.

After the game, Sam Allardyce claimed that Brady had dived to win the penalty, but Bruce insists that this was not the case.

"The big decisions have gone our way, but we had some injuries and showed terrific attitude to get the win," Bruce told BBC Sport.

"Sam Allardyce can rightly feel aggrieved about the penalty, it looked like a soft one. I wouldn't call it simulation, but I'll have to wait until I see it again."

Hull are now level on points with Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League table.
