Steve Bruce warns Hull City against complacency

Hull City boss Steve Bruce is adamant that his team will have to be at their best to record a victory over winless Burnley in their Premier League clash at Turf Moor.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has warned his side against complacency ahead of their Premier League clash with Burnley.

The Clarets are yet to record a win in the top flight this season, but Bruce has insisted that the Tigers will have to be at their best against Sean Dyche's men to have a chance to take the three points away from Turf Moor.

Bruce told the club's official website: "We know all about Burnley and about how difficult it can be. Every report that has come back on them says the same thing – they have a great spirit and they're desperate to stay in the Premier League.

"Their spirit will demand that we have to play well [to get a result]. Every game provides its own challenges. I'm a big admirer of Sean Dyche and his team and they're in here fighting. We must avoid becoming the first team to be beaten by them.

"The expectation is that we go there [and get a result], but if people think it's going to be easy then they are very much mistaken. If we turn up and think we just have to jog around to get a result, then we've had it and Burnley will turn us over."

Hull are 14th in the Premier League ahead of their match against Burnley later today.
