Motherwell forward James McFadden has suggested that Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass could be a future talisman for Scotland.
Snodgrass has enjoyed an impressive start to the new Premier League season with the Tigers, leading fellow countryman McFadden to talk up his potential to shine on an international level.
"I've known Snoddy for a while, he's a great guy," McFadden said, according to the Evening Times.
"He works hard. He's a great teammate and we're getting the rewards of it now.
"Hopefully for the next four or five years, or however long he plays for, he's going to be the man who pops up with the goals."
Snodgrass has made 18 senior appearances for Scotland, scoring seven goals in the process.
