Hull City boss Steve Bruce has revealed that he is "quietly confident" of guiding the team to safety in the Premier League.
The Tigers moved one point clear of the relegation zone on Saturday thanks to a 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
With four of their five remaining games to be played at the KC Stadium, Bruce is hopeful that Hull can secure their top-flight status for another season.
"I am quietly confident we can get enough points at home to stay in this league," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "I have always said that our home form is going to be imperative. It is so difficult for any Premier League team to win away from home. We have got to hope our home form can stack up.
"It looks as if we need a couple of results. We've given ourselves a great chance, but we are still in the thick of it and have still got a lot to do."
Hull are back in action tomorrow night when they host Liverpool at the KC Stadium.
