Inter Milan will still hope to be in with a chance of winning Serie A when they take on Napoli in the penultimate match of their 2019-20 domestic campaign on Tuesday night.
Antonio Conte's side moved into second spot in the table with a three-goal success at Genoa on Saturday, while Napoli beat Sassuolo on the same night to keep their top-five hopes alive.

Romelu Lukaku hit a brace and Alexis Sanchez continued his impressive form as Inter beat Genoa by three clear goals on Saturday night to rise above Atalanta BC into second spot in the table.
The gap from second-placed Inter to leaders Juventus is four points, and the Old Lady will have the chance to secure the title when they host Sampdoria on Sunday night.
As a result, Conte's side could fall just short in terms of the championship, but they will be desperate to finish above Atalanta and Lazio if they are unable to wrestle the title away from Juve.
The Milan giants have only lost four of their 36 league matches this term, but they only won two of their six games between July 5 and July 22 as they failed to get closer to the leaders.
Conte appears to be taking the team in the right direction, though, and they have two huge games against Napoli and Atalanta in the league before resuming their Europa League challenge on August 5.

Napoli, meanwhile, will not be present in next season's Champions League, at least not via Serie A, and are instead locked in a battle with AC Milan and Roma for the spot immediately outside the top four.
There is no getting away from the fact that it has been a disappointing season for the club but claiming fifth would not be the end of the world considering the issues that the club have faced.
As it stands, Gennaro Gattuso's side are seventh in the table, a point behind sixth-placed Milan and two points behind fifth-placed Roma, who host Fiorentina on Sunday night.
Napoli suffered a 2-1 defeat at Parma in their last away match on July 22 but bounced back by beating Sassuolo on Saturday night, with Elseid Hysaj and Allan on the scoresheet.
Gli Azzurri will be determined to finish their league season on a positive note against Inter and Lazio before facing Barcelona in the second leg of their last-16 Champions League clash on August 8.

Inter are again expected to be without the services of Matias Vecino and Stefano Sensi through injury, but fellow midfielder Nicolo Barella has served a one-game ban and is now available to return.
Conte is expected to shuffle his pack from the side that started on Saturday, with Antonio Candreva, Ashley Young and Stefan de Vrij all likely to return to the starting XI.
Sanchez could again be named on the bench despite his impressive form, though, with Lautaro Martinez and Lukaku set to continue as the front two with support from Christian Eriksen.
As for Napoli, Gattuso has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the contest, and it would not be a surprise to see the same XI sent onto the field following the win over Sassuolo.
Dries Mertens and Allan are perhaps the two players pushing strongest for a position in the starting side, but Arkadiusz Milik could keep his spot alongside Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne in attack.
The speculation surrounding the future of central defender Kalidou Kouilbaly continues to gather pace, but the Senegal international will again line up for the visitors.
Inter Milan possible starting lineup:
Handanovic; Godin, De Vrij, Skriniar; Young, Brozovic, Barella, Candreva; Eriksen; Lukaku, Martinez
Napoli possible starting lineup:
Ospina; Hysaj, Koulibaly, Manolas, Di Lorenzo; Zielinski, Lobotka, Ruiz; Insigne, Milik, Callejon
We say: Inter Milan 2-1 Napoli
This has all the makings of a terrific match, with both sides in need of the points. Napoli are certainly capable of picking up a positive result, but we just have a feeling for Inter, who have a number of players in excellent form at the moment.
