Wednesday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Brescia

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Serie A matches, including Inter Milan vs. Brescia.

Bologna vs. Cagliari (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Bologna and Cagliari meet at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Wednesday evening with both clubs having put themselves on the brink of retaining their Serie A status for another 12 months.

After prevailing in their most recent fixtures, the teams sit 10th and 11th place respectively with just 10 matches remaining.

We say: Bologna 2-2 Cagliari

At a time when both sides will be on a high, there will also be an acknowledgement that they have the freedom to push for all three points without being concerned about a relegation battle. However, this could lead to the teams cancelling each other out in an entertaining tussle.

Inter Milan vs. Brescia (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Inter Milan head into their encounter with Brescia on Wednesday evening knowing that only victory will do if they realistically wish to remain as contenders in the Serie A title race.

A similar scenario applies to Brescia with regards to survival at a time that they find themselves eight points adrift of safety with just eight matches of the season remaining.

We say: Inter Milan 3-1 Brescia

While Inter have been far from convincing since the resumption, this is an opportunity for Conte's side to enjoy a more comfortable 90 minutes. To a certain extent, Brescia will have to throw caution to the wind, and that should free up space for Inter's attacking players.

Fiorentina vs. Sassuolo (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Bottom-half sides Fiorentina and Sassuolo face off at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Wednesday, both seeking their first victory since returning to Serie A action.

Sassuolo have played out a couple of entertaining six-goal draws in their last two matches and are three points better off than Fiorentina, who sit directly below them in 13th.

We say: Fiorentina 1-1 Sassuolo

These sides are separated by just one place in the table and are both seeking a first win since returning to action. If their recent encounters are anything to go by then a tight contest can be expected in Florence on Wednesday, one that we are expecting to finish level.

SPAL vs. AC Milan (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

AC Milan head into their fixture away at SPAL now sitting just six points adrift of fifth-placed Roma in the Serie A table.

However, ahead of the contest at Stadio Paolo Mazza, SPAL sit eight points adrift of safety, effectively leaving them needing at least three wins from their final 10 games to have any chance of survival.

We say: SPAL 0-2 AC Milan

Milan have impressed since the resumption, and we can only see a relatively comfortable success for the visitors in this contest. However, having pushed some of the bigger clubs this season, do not be surprised if the home side are able to remain competitive.

Hellas Verona vs. Parma (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Hellas Verona and Parma meet at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi on Wednesday evening both realistically needing maximum points to remain in the hunt for a European place.

At the beginning of the week, the club are locked on the same points in ninth and eighth respectively, sixth points adrift of sixth-placed Napoli.

We say: Hellas Verona 1-1 Parma

Although both teams will feel inclined to push for all three points, we cannot see anything other than a low-scoring draw on Wednesday evening. With both managers having witnessed their sides suffer in defence, the onus will be on improving that part of their game.

Lecce vs. Sampdoria (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Lecce welcome fellow strugglers Sampdoria to Stadio Via Del Mare on Wednesday evening in a huge clash at the bottom of Serie A.

The hosts are in the bottom three after losing both matches since returning to action, although they are only one point behind their equally out-of-form opponents.

We say: Lecce 2-2 Sampdoria

Lecce have lost their last four Serie A games by an aggregate scoreline of 19-3. They have not lost five in a row since 2005 and, given the form of opponents Sampdoria, we can see them at least ending that losing run on Wednesday.
