Scottish Cup quarter-final between Inverness and Raith postponed until Tuesday

Inverness Caledonian Thistle's Scottish Cup quarter-final against Raith Rovers is postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and will now take place on Tuesday evening.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle's Scottish Cup quarter-final against Raith Rovers has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The tie at the Caledonian Stadium will now be played on Tuesday evening.

Inverness said in a statement on their official website: "The club apologise for any inconvenience for the postponement. As always player safety is paramount to any decision taken.

"Incessant rain throughout the night, which we had hoped would bypass Inverness and with the impending heavy rain forecast for later today it would be unfair to ask fans of both clubs to travel if the game was at all in doubt."

The winner will join Falkirk in the semi-finals, after the Championship side beat Queen of the South on Friday night.
