Scottish Premiership roundup: Motherwell grab rare win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's Scottish Premiership action as Motherwell grab a rare 2-1 win over Inverness on a good day for the bottom-half teams.

Goals from Louis Laing and Lionel Ainsworth earned Motherwell victory as they beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2-1 in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

Edward Ofere scored on his Inverness debut to level the score in the second half before Ainsworth struck the winner.

Veteran striker Steven Thompson scored the winner in St Mirren's 1-0 victory over Hamilton Academical, and Jamie Reckord bagged the only goal in Ross County's victory over Dundee.

Partick Thistle beat Dundee United 2-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Stephen O'Donnell and Jaroslaw Fojut's own goal.

Elsewhere, St Johnstone versus Kilmarnock remained goalless. Celtic play Aberdeen in tomorrow's top-of-the-table clash.
