SPL roundup: Aberdeen up to third

Sports Mole's roundup of Saturday's action from the Scottish Premier League.

Aberdeen climbed to third with a 4-1 win over St Mirren this afternoon.

Johnny Hayes and Niall McGinn put the visitors 2-0 up at half-time, while Chris Clark and Mark Reynolds got goals in the last five minutes. Steven Thompson put away a consolation goal for St Mirren in the 88th minute.

A last minute penalty gave Hearts a vital point at Inverness. Owain Tudor-Jones put Inverness ahead before Marius Zaliukas equalised from the spot in the final minute of normal time.

Motherwell and Dundee also played out a 1-1 draw, with goals from Michael Higdon and Nicky Riley.

Kilmarnock beat Ross County with three goals in 16 minutes in the second half, including a brace from Paul Heddernan.
