The Football Association has reportedly sent scouts to check on the progress of Ipswich Town defender Tyrone Mings in recent weeks.
Mings is believed to be attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool due to his fine form in the Championship for Ipswich, and his performances could soon see him make the step up to international football, according to the Daily Mail.
The 21-year-old has not appeared for England at any level, but he could now be in contention for a spot in Gareth Southgate's Under-21s squad for next summer's European Championships.
Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy recently declared himself pleased with the recognition Mings has received this season.
