Ipswich Town midfielder Jay Tabb has admitted that he was frustrated that his side were unable to find a winning goal in their draw against Brentford.
Daryl Murphy put the Tractor Boys ahead in the ninth minute, but Mark Warburton's men drew level through Jonathan Douglas.
Ipswich pushed for a winner in the second half, but they spurned several chances at Portman Road as they were forced to settle for a point.
Tabb told the club's official website: "People may say it was a fair result but I think, with the chances we've had, we could have nicked it.
"It's one of those really, it can be classed as a point gained or two dropped. We're still right in the mix though and it's so tight at the top. We certainly had the chances to win the game and it was a real end-to-end affair to be honest.
"It was tough out on the pitch but those are the type of games you want to be involved in and we've got another promotion clash against Middlesbrough on Saturday."
Mick McCarthy's men are currently seventh in the Championship, but are just five points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
