Team News: Ipswich Town unchanged for Charlton Athletic visit

Mick McCarthy names an unchanged Ipswich Town side for the visit of Charlton Athletic, despite the return of Tyrone Mings from injury.

Mick McCarthy has named an unchanged Ipswich Town XI for this evening's visit of Charlton Athletic in the Championship.

First-choice left-back Tyrone Mings is fit after a two-game absence, but only makes the bench as Jonathan Parr keeps his place in the back four.

Ipswich are looking to close to within a point of league leaders Bournemouth, and Charlton boss Bob Peeters has changed his formation to counter the Blues.

He starts with three centre-backs - Andre Bikey, Tal Ben Haim and Oguchi Onyewu - and makes two changes from the Boxing Day draw against Cardiff City.

Joe Gomez and the suspended Callum Harriott come out for Onyewu and Igor Vetokele.

Ipswich: Bialkowski; Chambers, Berra, Smith, Parr; Skuse, Bishop, Tabb; Anderson, Murphy, McGoldrick
Subs: Gerken, Mings, Bru, S.Hunt, Ambrose, N.Hunt, Sammon

Charlton: Etheridge; Bikey, Ben Haim, Onyewu; Solly, Buyens, Berg Gudmundsson, Jackson, Cousins; Vetokele, Tucudean
Subs: Pope, Wilson, Gomez, Bulot, Fox, Pigott, Ahearne-Grant
