Preview: Lazio vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole previews the Europa League encounter between Lazio and Tottenham Hotspur at the Stadio Olimpico.

Hosting Lazio know that three points against their English counterparts on Thursday evening would mean that their route through to the last 32 of the competition is secured.

However, visiting Tottenham Hotspur will be aware that maximum points for them would go a long way to booking their slot in the knockout stages.

Spurs could be boosted by the return from injury of attacking midfielder Moussa Dembele, while Emmanuel Adebayor may also start because he is suspended on the domestic front.

Meanwhile, hosting Lazio are likely to start with Germany international Miroslav Klose as a lone striker.

The Italians have won five of their last six matches in European competitions on home soil.
