Sparta Prague and Lazio played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie tonight.
Lucas Biglia spurned an early chance for the visitors, but then Sparta took the lead in the 13th minute. Martin Frydek was the scorer, spectacularly firing high into the net after collecting a pass from David Lafata.

Lazio equalised seven minutes before half time through Marco Parolo, who pounced in the area after Wesley Hoedt's initial header was saved by David Bicik.
Chances were at a premium in the second half, with Antonio Candreva wasting the best of the lot by spooning over the bar from inside the box.
The second leg is in a week's time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
