Sunday's Serie A predictions including Lazio vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Serie A fixtures, including Lazio vs. Napoli.

Torino vs. Bologna (Sunday, 11.30am)

Torino entertain Bologna in Serie A on Sunday with the hosts searching for only their second league win of the campaign.

Bologna, meanwhile, have slid to 13th in the table after failing to win any of their last three matches.

We say: Torino 1-2 Bologna

With both sides boasting decent offensive records but struggling to shut sides out at other end, we can envisage plenty of goals in an entertaining affair.

We think Bologna have a little more balance at present, though, so if they can keep Belotti as quiet as possible, they should have a good chance of winning.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Benevento vs. Genoa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Benevento host Genoa in Serie A on Sunday, with the visitors looking to close the gap on their opponents and edge closer to moving outside of the relegation places.

After an unexpectedly fast start to the campaign, Benevento have failed to win any of their last four matches, although they have drawn three of them.

We say: Benevento 1-1 Genoa

With both sides fairly evenly-matched and suffering from plenty of injuries, we can see a stalemate ensuing with both sides prioritising avoiding defeat ahead of winning.

Destro showed signs of life against his former club Milan on Wednesday, though, so if Genoa can create him a few chances, he could win the game for them.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cagliari vs. Udinese (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Faltering Cagliari face in-form Udinese at the Sardegna Arena on Sunday, as Serie A's relentless schedule continues apace.

The hosts have been on the hunt for a win since the beginning of last month, while Luca Gotti's resurgent Udinese have not lost in the league during the same period and now sit one point above the Sardinian side in the table.

We say: Cagliari 1-0 Udinese

Confidence is rising in the Udinese camp - but it is also a fragile thing - so renewed resolve from Eusebio Di Francesco's home team can help them earn their first win in over a month.

The impressive input of versatile Uruguayan international Nahitan Nandez and the nous of Joao Pedro could well be enough to get Cagliari over the line against one of the league's lowest-scoring sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Inter Milan vs. Spezia (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After their impressive comeback from Champions League heartbreak continued with a fortunate victory in midweek, Inter Milan welcome Serie A newcomers Spezia to San Siro on Sunday afternoon.

Though the visitors' impressive start to life in the top flight has come to a halt in recent weeks, Vincenzo Italiano's side remain four points clear of the relegation zone after they let slip a two-goal advantage on Wednesday.

We say: Inter Milan 3-1 Spezia

There seems little that can halt the growing momentum of Inter - even abject European failure - as they drive closer to the top of Serie A's Christmas tree.

Though Spezia generally travel well, they have stalled of late and will be no match for a motivated Nerazzurri attack this Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Sassuolo vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Serie A leaders AC Milan are in search of fresh momentum ahead of Sunday's engagement with sixth-placed Sassuolo after they stumbled to two successive draws against the league's lesser lights.

Though an early-season torrent of goals has dried up for the Neroverdi of late, Roberto De Zerbi's side have continued to keep company with Calcio's established big boys.

We say: Sassuolo 1-1 AC Milan

Though the wheels are hardly falling off the Milan wagon after back-to-back draws, momentum has definitely been lost in the Rossoneri camp.

It is hardly ideal, then, that Sunday's opponents are returning to full strength and could well prove too difficult a nut to crack for Stefano Pioli's side, given 'King' Zlatan's unfortunately prolonged absence.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Atalanta vs. Roma (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Atalanta BC welcome fourth-placed Roma to Bergamo on Sunday evening after an excellent away draw against Juventus in midweek.

The Giallorossi visit the Gewiss Stadium on the back of a routine 3-1 home win against hapless Torino and now lead La Dea by six points in the Serie A standings.

We say: Atalanta BC 1-2 Roma

Two well-matched and consistently entertaining sides meet on Sunday, but only one is likely to make any sort of sustained challenge for Scudetto glory.

With their greater experience - including Pedro, Dzeko and Mkhitaryan - plus exciting options on the bench, Roma can take advantage of any lingering disharmony in the Atalanta camp by notching at least another couple of crucial goals in Lombardy.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Napoli (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic celebrates scoring against Inter Milan in February 2020© Reuters

Lazio will look to overcome their worst start to a Serie A season in five years on Sunday after they slipped to ninth in the table following a goalless draw with Benevento in midweek.

Gennaro Gattuso's Napoli, meanwhile, are fifth after somehow conspiring to lose against potential Scudetto rivals Inter last time out and travel to Stadio Olimpico equally in need of a win.

We say: Lazio 1-1 Napoli

With both sides apparently fatigue-affected and set to take the field without key men, this game could be more of a cagey affair than some would expect, given their respective reputations.

Napoli's attacking edge will be blunted by important absences, so even though they may start slight favourites, Gennaro Gattuso's side may have to make do with a point in Rome.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
