Leeds United assistant manager Steve Thompson has been suspended until the end of the season for 'under-performing' at the Championship club, according to reports.
The Whites confirmed in a club statement on Thursday that the 50-year-old had been relieved of his duties, although no further details had been given.
According to the Daily Star, however, Thompson received a letter from the club which cited his 'poor performance' as the main reason for him being disciplined.
The newspaper also claims that Thompson has reported Leeds to the League Managers Association and asked them to take up his case.
Leeds are currently sitting in 13th place in the Championship table.
