Leeds United have announced that they have completed the signing of Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford.
The Yorkshire giants have been linked with Derby County's Matej Vydra for much of the summer transfer window, but the Czech Republic international opted against a switch to a team who finished lower than the Rams in the Championship last season.
That resulted in Leeds moving for former Chelsea trainee Bamford, who has now penned a four-year contract at Elland Road.
Leeds have not disclosed the fee, but Sky Sports News claims that Middlesbrough could receive in the region of £10m, some of which will be paid in add-ons.
The 24-year-old leaves the Riverside Stadium having scored a total of 14 goals in 29 starts and 24 substitute appearances in all competitions.
