According to The Sun, that has resulted in Rangers emerging as a potential destination for the attacker in the coming weeks.
The report suggests that Leeds are demanding in the region of £5m for Roofe, who only has one year left on his contract.
Rangers are well stocked for options in the final third, while manager Steven Gerrard insists that Alfredo Morelos remains not for sale.
