Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has suggested that the Foxes will make a good impression in the Champions League providing that they match last season's form.
The Premier League champions gets their debut campaign in the competition underway on Wednesday with a trip to Club Brugge, and despite a poor start to the domestic season, Vardy is confident that he and his teammates can compete among Europe's elite.
The 29-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "We definitely want to make a mark in this tournament. We don't just want to sit there and roll over and get beat every time we play in the Champions League.
"We want to give it a good go. I think if we play anywhere near how we have played, especially all last season, then why can't we? We're not there just to be walked all over."
Porto and FC Copenhagen make up the remainder of Group G.
