Leicester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson says he is "not worried" by speculation concerning his future at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has said that he is "not worried" about recent reports claiming he may be facing the sack.

"I have not seen the reports but I have been told and I am not surprised," Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury.

"This is football. I am not worried about it. Everything is okay."

The Foxes currently lie tenth in the Championship and host table-toppers Brighton at the weekend.

"The board have not said anything about that at all, and you go on working and everything is looking forward to the big game on Saturday. That is all that I can do about it," Eriksson added.

"We try as much as possible to shield [the players] from the pressure, but perhaps some of them have felt it a little bit."

Leicester are expected to make a push for promotion after bringing in 13 players this summer.
