Claude Puel to be sacked by Leicester City?

Leicester City are reportedly edging towards parting company with manager Claude Puel at the end of the season.

Leicester City have reportedly started to considering sacking manager Claude Puel at the end of the campaign.

In October, Puel was brought in as a replacement for Craig Shakespeare and the Frenchman initially led the Foxes into contention for a place in next season's Europa League.

However, Leicester have recorded just 10 points from their last 11 Premier League games and according to the Daily Mail, Saturday's 5-0 defeat at Crystal Palace could lead to a change being made in the dugout.

The report claims that senior officials were left frustrated by the manner of the setback, with Leicester already two goals behind when Marc Albrighton was dismissed shortly before the hour mark.

Puel has also come in for criticism for his style of play, and the former Southampton man will seemingly need to get the club back to winning ways over the next 11 days to remain at the King Power Stadium.

Former Hull City and Watford head coach Marco Silva has been suggested as a possible replacement.
