Leicester City came from behind to defeat West Bromwich Albion 3-2 in the Premier League this afternoon, giving them a fighting chance of avoiding the drop.

The Baggies twice took the lead in the first period, but Nigel Pearson's side equalised with 10 minutes remaining before stealing maximum points in stoppage time.

Jamie Vardy was the match winner for the Foxes, doing the damage in the 92nd minute and helping his side to their second win on the spin.

Goal

Boaz Myhill: The former Wales international may have let in three goals, but it was his defence that was more at fault. Myhill was left exposed on all three occasions and had an otherwise-impressive afternoon, handling the myriad crosses Leicester sent his way with composure. (7/10)

Defence

Craig Dawson: Could have ventured forward more, but did well to hold off Leicester out wide. (7/10)

Chris Brunt: Unlike Dawson, Brunt did manage to get forward and caused the Foxes some problems with his crosses, claiming an assist. He also snuffed out a number of attacks. (8/10)

Gareth McAuley: Was at fault for Leicester's winning goal as Vardy got goalside of him too easily. (5/10)

Joleon Lescott: A poor game for the former Everton and Manchester City man, who failed to close down David Nugent for Leicester's opening goal and struggled to match the strength of the Foxes' strikeforce. (5/10)

Midfield

Claudio Yacob: He struggled to make any kind of impact on the game as Leicester won the battle in midfield. A few misplaced passes capped off an unspectacular performance. (6/10)

James Morrison: Made a few good runs and wasn't afraid to get stuck in in the centre of the park, but ran out of steam later on, forcing Pulis to substitute him. (7/10)

Craig Gardner: Had an exceptional first half, showing creativity and scoring an impressive volley, but he fizzled out in the second period like the rest of the West Brom XI. (7/10)

Darren Fletcher: Like Gardner, Fletcher has a strong first period and his positioning was effective, as was his aerial ability. He did well to get his head to the free kick for West Brom's opening goal but was marked out of the game after the break. (7/10)

Attack

Saido Berahino: Berahino did not play like a man who has any desire to wear the West Brom shirt. His decision-making was awful, shooting from positions when he should really have been picking out teammates who were better placed. The striker was wasteful all afternoon, and as a result, the Baggies lacked bite in their attack. (3/10)

Brown Ideye: West Brom's attacking threat came largely from midfield, so Ideye also had a relatively quite game. However, he showed more creativity than Berahino and notched up an assist. (6/10)

Substitutes

Jonas Olsson: Made his presence felt when he came on for Gardner, giving West Brom some extra height in the box when he came forward for attacking set pieces.(7/10)

Stephane Sessegnon: Only had five minutes to make his mark after replacing Morrison, and his introduction counted for little. (5/10)

Victor Anichebe: Did little to bolster the West Brom attack after his introduction on the hour and was kept quiet by the Leicester defence. (6/10)

Goal

Kasper Schmeichel: Had little to do beyond West Brom's two attacks that found the mark and he could have done better for their first goal. The second took a wicked deflection. (6/10)

Defence

Ritchie De Laet: Failed to hold off West Brom out wide and was taken off at half time as a result. (5/10)

Wes Morgan: Managed to get forward and cause the Baggies some problems but was at fault for Gardner's goal. (6/10)

Robert Huth: Showed off his defensive prowess when Leicester were on the back foot and his good positioning was apparent when he headed their equaliser for 2-2. (8/10)

Jefferey Schlupp: Showed plenty of determination and made some good runs into the West Brom half, troubling the Baggies with a few deft crosses. (7/10)

Midfield

Matthew James: Leicester were dominant in the midfield but James wasn't one of the stand-out performers, losing as many challenges as he won. (6/10)

Jamie Vardy: A constant thorn in West Brom's side. Took the winning goal brilliantly. (8/10)

Marc Albrighton: Earned man of the match from us for his stellar performance. Constantly terrorising the West Brom defence with some lethal crosses and delivering plenty of service to Leicester's front pairing. (9/10)

Esteban Cambiasso: Worked hard and covered every blade of grass during the 90 minutes, showing similar creativity to Albrighton. (8/10)

Attack

Leonardo Ulloa: Missed a sitter late in the first half but redeemed himself by providing an imposing presence in the box throughout and linking up well with strike partner Nugent. (7/10)

David Nugent: A constant threat to West Brom and was on the same wavelength as Ulloa throughout. Looked odds-on to score more than one this afternoon. (8/10)

Substitutes

Marcin Wasilewski: On at half time to replace De Laet. Looked more solid than his predecessor. (7/10)

Andy King: Brought balance to the midfield following his introduction on the hour. (7/10)
